Taking note of the lessons emerging from the Goa incident, Dr Misra stressed the need for heightened vigilance and strict enforcement of safety regulations in Haryana.
These apps will be in Hindi, English, as well as in 14 Regional languages, she added.

Sharing more details, an official spokesperson said that the Kapas Kisan mobile application has been developed by the Government of India’s enterprise, Cotton Corporation of India Limited (CCI), for the sale of cotton under the MSP scheme for the year 2025–26.

Saini expressed grief over the loss of 13 lives in the state due to house collapses in this natural disaster. These include four deaths in Fatehabad, three in Bhiwani, two each in Kurukshetra and Yamunanagar, and one each in Hisar and Faridabad.
According to reports, the flood situation in Haryana has been dire, with over 1,362 villages and 1.73 lakh hectares of crop area affected. The state government has confirmed 35 deaths, and over 6,629 people have been evacuated from affected areas.
