Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) could only be achieved through collective participation and inter-state collaboration.
Addressing the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences (VGRC) – interaction meet at New Delhi on Thursday, Patel said, "Today, Gujarat contributes 8.5 per cent of India’s GDP, 18 per cent to its industrial output, and nearly 27 per cent to the country’s exports."
During the meeting, Patel discussed various issues related to the state's development, including the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences.
"The Gambhira bridge collapse was only one in a series as 16 major tragedies owing to such disasters had taken place during the last 4 years. Not a single person had been held responsible," said Jignesh Mevani.
In a post on X, CM Patel said that he has instructed officials to carry out rescue and relief works on a war footing.
The Delhi chief minister called it a case of big corruption scam and alleged that efforts are on to suppress the truth behind the collapse of the bridge.
