According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) on Saturday was 268, up from 254 on Friday and 245 on Thursday.
Carrying dangerous goods such as firecrackers, gas cylinders, acid, petrol, kerosene or similar inflammable materials in trains is strictly prohibited under the Railways Act, 1989, and offenders are liable to imprisonment of up to three years.
