The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday sought public comments on the proposed National Pharmacy Commission Bill, 2023 which aims to set up the National Pharmacy Commission and repeal the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
The human rights panel sought an action taken report on the alleged lack of healthcare facilities for breast cancer in Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) empanelled hospitals.
As per the Ministry’s data, 1,02,65,706 people have recovered so far and currently there are 1,92,308 active cases.
About 72 per cent of the daily new cases are reported from six states -- Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka.
