The programme will be attended by state Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh, Agriculture Minister, senior officers of the Tourism and Culture Departments, and representatives from educational institutions, rural tourism groups, and youth collectives.
From January 24 to 26, visitors will be able to explore the state’s tourism landscape through an immersive showcase curated by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department.
As part of this initiative, the Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Board is developing several amenities including a children’s park, play stations, bamboo round huts, nature walk trails, an open gym, and a cafeteria.
The project aims to create a unique tourism hub where eco-tourism, wildlife experiences and wellness-based offerings converge in a sustainable natural setting.
Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, is set to become a hub for ecotourism, drawing visitors from across the globe. The state Eco Tourism Development Board has initiated a development project to enhance tourist facilities around Udhaila Lake in Milkipur, with a budget allocation of nearly Rs 4 crore.
“Every eco-tourism destination will be developed in an area of one hectare. A reserve price has been fixed for these sites to be developed and operated through outsourcing,” said state chief minister.
The forest department hosted one-week training for its staff manning forest huts in the hospitality trade including housekeeping, catering, and front office management.
The dedicated dolphin conservation reserve is being planned with an aim to increase its population base which will go a long way in boosting eco-tourism in the region.
the forest department has already identified five eco-tourism projects in the state and would be collaborating with the tourism department to streamline and execute these projects.
