According to the police, they have recovered more than 47 kg of cannabis worth around Rs 25 lakh, they said.
The Police identified the arrested accused as Rahul Wadhwa (32), Abdul Kadir (29), and Chimezie Lazarus Indedinge, alias Zudo (35), a Nigerian national residing in the city.
A total of 5.737 kg of cannabis was seized along with three vehicles and two passports, they added.
The accused were identified as Suhail A M (31) and Sujin K S (32), both natives of Kerala; Nigerian nationals Tobi Nwoyeke (35) and Chikwado Nnake Kingsley (29); and a Bengaluru-based couple, Md Zaheed (29) and his wife, Suha Fatima, alias Neha (29), police said.
The police said the gang was into manufacturing and distribution of fake life-saving medicines of top pharmaceutical brands such as Johnson & Johnson, GSK, and Alkem.
Apoorva Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Anti-Narcotics Task Force (Crime), said that 2,360 capsules of Tramadol, 135 bottles of codeine-based cough syrup, and five mobile phones were seized from the accused.
A woman has been arrested while efforts are underway to apprehend her son for operating a drug syndicate in Delhi, police said on Monday.
