The police said a PCR call was received regarding the incident wherein the caller said that three people came in a car and fired at his nephew, Vikas and fled leaving the vehicle behind. The injured was shifted to the hospital, it added.
The accused, identified as 21-year-old Gautam, was arrested while he was trying to flee after the murder.
According to the police, the local team received a PCR call regarding the molestation of a 12-year-old girl at Police Station Kanjhawala on Tuesday. Following the call, a team reached JJ Colony, Sawda where the victim reported the incident.
The accused was hiding at a relative’s house to evade his arrest in the murder case, added police.
The cops have arrested the alleged accused person, who is a 35-year-old plumber, and safely reunited the child with her parents, a senior police official said.
The first incident was reported from Thakurdwara area of Moradabad district where a nurse was raped by a doctor in private nursing home after taking her hostage on Saturday night.
The accused are identified as Harun, Amir Sohail and Saif, all residents of Jaitpur, Delhi. The trio was wanted in connection with a case under Arms Act at the Sunlight Colony Police Station.
