TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has promised to conduct a caste census in the state in order to counter the YSRCP which had already announced to do so just a couple of months before the elections were declared.
He wooed the voters with a promise to induct the party candidate from the Kuppam Assembly constituency in Chittoor KRJ Bharath in the state Cabinet if he wins the polls.
The duo burned the orders issued by the incumbent government in the traditional 'bhogi' pyre in a symbolic gesture to end of the YSRCP rule on Sankranti.
TDP MP from Vijayawada Kesineni Srinivas today met chief minister and party supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy after submitting his resignation to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
Kishore reportedly highlighted the weaknesses of Andhra CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and how they can be countered.
In a letter addressed to DGP Gautam Sawang on Wednesday, Naidu said that police atrocities have reached their limits in the last two years. "The reputation of police is hitting rock bottom with every passing day," he declared.
"Corporate management (of schools and junior colleges) are tight-lipped and Babu (Naidu) is keeping quiet because he is scared that people will be after him," claimed Reddy.
In the 2019 Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, she undertook a bus yatra campaigning for the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh which saw the overthrow of the TDP government.
He demanded that the Chief Minister apologise to the people and withdraw the move to relocate the state capital in deference to the wishes of six crore people of the state.
Naidu also accused Jaganmohan Reddy of perpetrating a 'jungle raj' on all sections of people in the state.
