The Opposition Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has taken a sharp dig at the "double engine" government at the Centre and the State over the cancellation of the tender for the 346-km-long Coastal Highway project under the Bharatmala scheme.
Ahead of the Delhi assembly elections, former MLA and Congress nominee from Patparganj assembly segment Anil Chaudhary on Saturday wrote to the Returning Officer (RO) for cancellation of the nomination of AAP candidate Avadh Ojha.
The Congress MP from Assam warned that Rahul Gandhi and the party won’t let this issue go unchallenged.
The cancellation comes following a decision by the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department (MAUD), under the control of the Government of Telangana.
