The mishap occurred on the Indore-Ujjain road. The bus of the ‘Baaneshwari Travels’ owned by the Shukla family, ran over the family riding on a motorcycle.
Six Kanwariyas were killed and at least 24 others injured when a bus ferrying pilgrims collided with a gas cylinder-laden truck near Jamunia forest in Deoghar’s Mohanpur block early Tuesday morning.
At least 36 Amarnath pilgrims were injured on Saturday when a bus hit four other parked vehicles of the Yatra convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway near Ramban.
She said during the previous AAP government’s tenure, residents of Delhi didn’t have to wait for more than one minute for a bus at any stand but now under the BJP government, people are forced to wait for up to an hour.
According to reports, three of the victims have been identified and efforts were underway to establish the identities of the rest.
While inaugurating, the CM said, “The first electric bus of Delhi will start plying from today. By April we’ll see 300 electric buses run on the roads of Delhi. Our end-goal is to procure a total of 2,000 electric buses in the coming years.”
As the things escalated, the police rushed to the spot and tried to pacify the irate commuters. Scenes of chaos could be seen and a minor scuffle between the people and the cops was also reported.
One person was killed and 19 were injured when their bus knocked a lorry and caught fire in Tanzania's southern highlands region of Songwe.
"We have faith in the earth, faith in religion, faith in our labour and faith in our leaders. We have faith in what the leaders say and when huge advertisements tell us that development has arrived, we begin to wonder," she said.
