The meeting, attended by Congress Bihar in-charge Krishna Allavaru and state party chief Rajesh Ram, addressed the reasons behind the party’s poor performance in the state.
His comments came in the aftermath of his daughter Rohini Acharya’s allegation that the blame for the RJD’s drubbing in the recently concluded Bihar polls is being pinned on her.
Basically, the Rs 10,000 strategy complemented Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s reputation for women-centric policymaking, scripting the historic outcome in a state where the BJP had previously played runner-up.
The saffron party sees the Bihar results as a morale booster ahead of next month's local body elections in Kerala and the Assembly elections to be held in April/ May next year.

The intense Bihar assembly polls’ counting process is underway across districts, with results likely to be declared later in the day. The process commenced at 8 am today, with postal ballot counting starting first, followed by EVM counting at 8:30 am. Bihar recorded a landmark 67.13% voter turnout, the highest since 1951, with women voters outdoing men (71.6% vs 62.8%), in the two-phase voting held on November 6 and November 11.
As counting is underway for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly, leaders across parties are projecting confidence and reading early trends in their favour.
At close, the Sensex was up 12.16 points or 0.01% at 84,478.67, and the Nifty was up 3.35 points or 0.01% at 25,879.15.
Bihar Assembly Election results will be announced tomorrow, and they will determine whether Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U)-BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will retain power or whether Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD-led Mahagathbandhan alliance will beat the nine-time chief minister.
