Since the incident came to light, widespread anger has been seen across the state. Student organisations, social activists, and political parties have been demanding a fair investigation and repeatedly calling for a CBI probe.
JMM leader termed the incident a shameful act and questioned if a person with such mental condition should continue to serve as the Bihar CM.
He said, “After the formation of the new government, we have begun working swiftly to create more government jobs and employment opportunities in the state. Several concrete steps have been taken to ensure that government vacancies are filled as quickly as possible.”
