Anil Baluni, BJP Rajya Sabha member and media in-charge said in a press statement that during his one-day stay, Shah will flag-off the fourth phase of 'Poribortan Yatra' from Cooch Behar and participate in various programmes.
The BJP president said that Mamata Banerjee talks about Maa-Mati-Manush (Mother-Land-People) but never respects that. He said that Bengal has a special place in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's heart.
When asked about two-time Diamond Harbour MLA Dipak Haldar, he said Trinamul Congress is like a banyan tree, if some leaves were torn, the tree will remain unaffected.
"By the time the elections will be held in Bengal, Mamata Didi will turn back and see no one in the party. There will no one left except for her," said Shah while addressing BJP's joining rally at Howrah Dumurjala stadium via video conferencing.
Elections for 294 seats of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly are scheduled to be held in May.
