Bengal govt starts survey to track grievances of rural people about state services

The three-tier panchayat polls in West Bengal are scheduled for next year. Understanding that local issues will be the key factors that will determine the mood of the voters, the West Bengal government, from Saturday, has started a detailed survey to feel the pulse of the rural population in the state residing in the panchayat areas.

“The chief minister is not following the constitution and is not responding to my letters seeking information on different issues. But her constitutional responsibilities are to provide me necessary information. My duty is to restrict her inside constitutional boundary. Hope, she would respond to my queries.”

Bengal govt mulling to introduce PPP model in school education

The investors will have the liberty to get affiliation from boards of their choice. The state government will only extend required support to secure the affiliation of their choice. The fees structure and the medium of instruction will be settled by the private investor and the state will have no role in it.
