Bangladesh Sports Minister Aminul Haque has said that any decision regarding the future of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will be taken only after consultations with the International Cricket Council (ICC), while also confirming plans to launch a separate probe into the team’s absence from this year’s ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
The BCCI Vice President made this comment after the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Scotland has officially replaced Bangladesh in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
The decision was taken during an ICC Board meeting on Wednesday, where a majority of members voted in favour of having a replacement team if Bangladesh maintained its stance.
