Abdullah, who is in Rampur jail along with his father, Azam Khan, appeared in court via video conferencing.
The case was related to alleged objectionable remarks made during the 2019 Lok Sabha election campaign.
Additional District and Sessions Judge II (MP-MLA Court) Alok Verma acquitted Azam Khan citing a lack of concrete evidence.
