The police said that the operation led to the arrest of five men and a recovery of over 42 cartons containing nearly 2,000 quarters of illicit liquor, 24 bottles of beer, and three camels used for transport.
The accused has at least seven cases of cheating and forgery registered against him across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan.
The police said the accused, who have been identified as Jamil (25) and Moinuddin (30), were involved in 15 cases of robbery, snatching, burglary, and theft, and violation of the Arms Act, they said.
One suspect was apprehended in the national capital, while the other was arrested in Ranchi, Jharkhand, with the assistance of the local police.
