Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday praised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for the reforms introduced by the state government and for presenting a comprehensive "growth blueprint" for Andhra Pradesh, an official said.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said that the damage inflicted on the Polavaram project during the past five years of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule was worse than that during the bifurcation of unified Andhra Pradesh.

Reddy had earlier stated that the Andhra Pradesh government would spend an additional Rs 1,000 crore to strengthen the fight against COVID-19.
According to reports, the woman, identified as R Sriranjani, was arrested by police from Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam district.
