Kanimozhi, who led the delegation, said the visit was "very positive" and underscored that its bipartisan nature -- comprising mostly opposition MPs and one BJP MP -- reflected India's united stand against terrorism on the global stage.
Tharoor acknowledged the criticism and questions raised by party colleagues but prioritised conveying India's message to the countries they visited.
"Our Prime Ministers personally visited Pakistan and made a number of declarations...But every time we were backstabbed by the terrorist attacks," he said.
Owaisi is part of the Jay Panda-led group that will visit UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Denmark.
