Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, addressing students and parents of the Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur, said, "We are all fully with the youth and their parents in their campaign to save Jauhar University."

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Friday blamed the BJP and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls for the likely defeat of the Mahagathbandhan, which includes the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Congress, Left parties, and Vikas Sheel Insan Party, in the Bihar assembly.
"It is true, and we will have to accept that the BJP is manipulating everything as per their strategy and the exit polls are part of their plan," he charged.
"Therefore, I appeal to everyone to take the task of enrolling new voters seriously and to fully engage in it," he told SP legislators here on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters at the party office here, he said nearly half the voting took place in the first phase, and the public had made their stance clear. He said, "The people of Bihar want change, and the Grand Alliance will certainly win a majority."
Khazanchi Yadav, who was born in a queue during the demonetization drive in 2016, marked his ninth birthday this year. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has been celebrating his birthday every year since his birth.
