Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, addressing students and parents of the Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur, said, "We are all fully with the youth and their parents in their campaign to save Jauhar University."

Reacting to Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav's statement regarding the caste column in the census, the BJP said on Sunday it reflects intellectual bankruptcy, along with political desperation and frustration.
“They are adding fake voters and deleting the names of PDA (Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) voters. The Election Commission is also not acting impartially. If a constitutional institution does not function impartially, who will trust it?” he alleged.
"There isn't even a column for caste in the census 2027 notification—what will they count?" Yadav asked.
Akhilesh Yadav made these remarks in a post shared on his social media account, on Saturday.
Yadav was addressing a large number of party workers from various districts of the state at the Samajwadi Party state headquarters here on Friday.
