Taiwanese electronics company Acer on Wednesday launched a new gaming laptop -- Predator Helios 16 powered by 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Series GPU -- in India at a price of Rs 1,99,990.
Taiwanese electronics company Acer on Monday launched its new laptop which features the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 series processor, a 15.6-inch Full-HD display and much more, in the country.
Inflation and fears of a recession are at the forefront of consumers' minds, and spending on tablets has taken a backseat as the need for pandemic-era levels of use has fallen, according to a Canal's report.
Other important features of the newly launched laptop include a DTS: X® Ultra audio, Acer Purified. Voice technology with AI noise reduction in dual built-in microphones, Webcam with Temporal Noise Reduction, DoubleShotTM Pro, and ThunderboltTM 4 Type-C port.
"With technology innovation, gamers in today's times demand superior performance and experience. At Acer, our continued efforts are to fulfill this demand and bring the best to the gaming community," Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer, Acer India, said in a statement.
This is the second laptop to come out of the manufacturing line after the acclaimed TravelMate series laptops. With this Acer’s Make in India laptops give strong momentum to India's manufacturing competitiveness and leverage the production-linked incentive (PLI) by the Government of India.
The laptop is powered with RTX 30 series discrete graphics and comes with AMD Ryzen 5000 Series Mobile Processors as the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card.
The laptop that features a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display is available at Acer Online Store and Amazon, the company said in a statement.
