India’s former batting great Sachin Tendulkar heaped praise on current batting sensation Virat Kohli for his noble initiative to fight the social evil – human trafficking.
“Great initiative undertaken by @imVkohli to fight human trafficking. A cause we must all contribute towards. Loved being a part of the event,” Sachin tweeted on Tuesday.
Indian cricket captain Kohli organised a charity ball in London, following his team’s victory over Pakistan on Sunday.
Besides the current crop of cricketers, former Indian cricketers like Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Sunil Gavaskar also graced the evening.
The 28-year-old batsman has been associated with charity work from time to time and has started a foundation to raise funds for underprivileged kids.
