The opening ceremony of the league’s season 3 took place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The league has six teams – Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Islamabad and Multan.

Fans from Pakistan often take to social media websites to appreciate Virat Kohli’s success.

This is not for the first time that placard involving Virat Kohli from a Pakistani fan has gone viral.

Last year, during the Independence Cup played between the ICC World XI and Pakistan in Lahore, a Pakistani policeman had held a placard which read, “Kohli, Marry Me.” This placard had also gone viral in no time.

Recently, Kohli, who had been in a phenomenal form, became the first India captain to lead India to first bilateral ODI series win against Proteas in South Africa.

India lost the Test series and later bounced back to clinch the ODI as well as T20 series.
