The teaser dropped on June 12, eight days before it was supposed to. By the same afternoon, Salman Khan's lawyers were in Delhi High Court seeking an urgent stay. The director has since said he will not stop.

The case was heard by a Lucknow bench of Justices Sangeeta Chandra and BR Singh. The petition was filed by JY Shukla, who argued that the trailer of the film showed lawyers in poor light.
Shilpa explained what makes the superstar truly special. “Long before the world began calling him King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan already believed he was a king,” she said.
