On the sets of ‘Super Dancer Chapter 5’, actress Shilpa Shetty shared her thoughts about Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. And, not so surprisingly, it turned into one of the most memorable moments of the show.

The episode featured a performance by young contestant Sukriti, who danced to the evergreen track ‘Sachi Yeh Kahani Hai’ from Shah Rukh’s early film ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’.

The performance impressed Shilpa Shetty so much that she compared Sukriti’s energy and confidence to that of Shah Rukh Khan himself.

Shilpa explained what makes the superstar truly special. “Long before the world began calling him King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan already believed he was a king,” she said. According to her, it was his unbreakable confidence and strong self-belief that made people see him the same way.

The song Sukriti performed on, ‘Sachi Yeh Kahani Hai’, is from the 1993 film ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’. Directed by Kundan Shah, the movie was a lighthearted coming-of-age drama featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepak Tijori, Suchitra Krishnamurthy, and Naseeruddin Shah.

The film is still remembered for its innocence, charm, and Shah Rukh’s endearing performance.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan has now acquired the rights to this film under his own banner, Red Chillies Entertainment. The story was even remade in Telugu as ‘Swapnalokam’, starring Jagapathi Babu and Raasi.

As for Shilpa Shetty, she continues to enjoy her journey on both television and films. Her most recent film was ‘Sukhee’, a slice-of-life story about a woman rediscovering herself and her joy in life.

Further on the work front, Shilpa’s upcoming project is ‘KD: The Devil’, a Kannada action drama directed by Prem. The movie boasts a strong star cast with Dhruva Sarja in the lead role, along with Sanjay Dutt, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, Nora Fatehi, and Shilpa Shetty herself.
