Blogger Rinku Chatlani followed her dreams and achieved success

Rinku Chatlani is a popular fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blogger who made a mark for herself on her own terms. It took her 3 years of hard work and passion to carve a niche for herself in the blogging world.

A BBM graduate from Bangalore who left behind a stable job, the journey for Rinku has been quite an inspiration. She decided to venture into the world of fashion blogging when she got acknowledged for her fashion sense at her workplace and outings. She would always be asked about her outfits on and off social media and that’s when she realized that she has it in her to make it big. Taking the risk, she put her passion ahead of her and shed the corporate image. The rest, as they say, is history.

During her first year of blogging, she also did a digital marketing course that made her understand the digital world deeper. She started her blog and runs an online store too that goes by the name ‘Quirk Struck’.

About her blog Rinku shared, “I’ve always loved playing dress-up since childhood and with time my passion towards fashion and makeup grew stronger. It made me happy, period! I did try my hand at a secure well-paid job but I didn’t quite enjoy doing it and I feel that life is too short to not follow your dreams. That’s when I decided to take that risk to quit my job and start putting out content. I believe in the saying “Better an oops than a what if” and I didn’t want to have any regrets later in life!”

Rinku, being the boss lady that she is, wears many hats. Apart from blogging and her online store, she also assists brands as a consultant and has handled social media pages for many brands.

On being asked about her definition of being creative she adds, “For me being creative is being able to express yourself freely and being your most authentic self. Ideas come to everyone but how you take that idea and act on them is creativity. Experimenting, exploring, questioning and turning those ideas into reality is creativity.”
