“Prasoon Joshi will not be allowed to enter Rajasthan or take part in Jaipur Lit Fest,” an agitated Sukhdev Singh of the Rajput Karni Sena said adding that Joshi had hurt their sentiments by certifying the film’s release.

The group also vowed to not let Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the director of ‘Padmaavat’ to ever shoot in Rajasthan again.

The literary extravaganza will come to an end on January 29.

On Thursday, hours after the Supreme Court lifted a ban on the film “Padmaavat” by some states, activists of Karni Sena attacked a cinema hall in Bihar nd tore down posters of the movie.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had on December 30, 2017 gave Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ a UA certificate and suggested the director to change the film’s title to ‘Padmaavat’.
