In one of the most sharpest critique of United States policy of providing aid to Pakistan, President Donald Trump slammed the south-Asian country saying, that they have given us nothing but “lies and deceit”.
Trump in a tweet on Monday, said that US “The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools”.
Trump wrote further in the tweet that , “They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more”.

Earlier this month, Trump had already hinted that he may cut off the aid for good.
Relations between the US and Pakistan have soured since Trump declared that Pakistan “gives safe haven to agents of chaos, violence and terror.”
