Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah said on Wednesday that during the past 12 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, the country has been rebuilt as a bastion of security that shields citizens, while unleashing destruction upon enemies.
Shah highlighted the Modi government’s achievements in strengthening national security over the past 12 years, adding that whether it is about giving a befitting response to enemies across border with the firepower, through surgical strikes, air strikes and Operation Sindoor, or eradicating the problem of Naxalism, a lot has been done to bolster a safe environment.

In a post on X, Amit Shah stated, “In the 12 years of the Modi government, our nation has been rebuilt as a bastion of security that shields the citizens and unleashes destruction upon its enemies.”
The Home Minister said that the Modi government has fortified internal security with over 12 accords in the Northeast, while the country has set examples of its resolute commitment to national security for the world to admire.
He also mentioned the abrogation of Article 370 in J&K, that paved way for socio economic, legal and administrative reforms in the region.
Earlier, the HM has lauded various initiatives during the past 12 years of PM Modi led government, highlighting the reforms, due to which people have been connected with mainstream development by resolving various regional issues that acted as road blocks.
Some time ago, the Home Minister had also stated that Modi government is also working to construct a ‘leak-proof security grid,’ with regard to the borders and building an impenetrable security cordon by deploying technological fencing.
Shah had said that work on installing technological fencing is being expedited in forested regions and along riverine channels at the concerned border to prevent infiltration through such routes.
