Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reaffirmed India's commitment to safeguarding freedom of navigation and combating piracy and terrorism in the Indian Ocean region.
The last time that PM Modi had made a similar announcement was post the successful conduct of the anti-satellite (ASAT) test on 27 March 2019, termed as Mission Shakti. He had then stated “With this, India has entered its name as an elite space power.”
