CRPF daily report on force deployment to home ministry
The ministry wants to keep itself updated about the central force movements in the state so that proper utilization of the forces can be done promptly as and when the situation demands.
Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers were injured on Thursday in a militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
“A convoy of CRPF’s 96 battalion comprising of six buses was on its way back to Mattan town when it was fired upon by militants,” a police officer said.
“The attack was repulsed, but two troopers sustained minor injuries. The area has been cordoned off for searches,” he added.
