The clarification came after several posts circulated online, falsely linking a viral video from Thailand to the senior Indian Army officer.

The bodies of two Army porters were recovered on Friday from a nallah near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Gulmarg area of north Kashmir, where they had slipped a day earlier.
The deceased have been identified as Liaqat Ahmad (27) and Ishfaq Ahmad Khatana (33), both residents of Chadoosa in Baramulla district.

Their bodies were reportedly found near the Anita Sunshine Post in the trekking area of Gulmarg. Both victims are believed to have died on the spot after falling from a height.

The porters were attached to an Army unit and slipped into the nallah while en route to the Anita Post in the upper reaches of the Gulmarg area.
