Tourists, locals pay tributes to 40 CRPF martyrs in Pulwama
They showered flower petals at the spot on the Jammu-Srinagar highway where a suicide bomber hit his explosives-laden car into a convoy of CRPF killing 40 troops.
The grand celebrations of International Gita Mahotsav-2018 at Brahma Sarovar, Kurukshetra is a huge crowd puller with artists enthralling the tourists with their art and crafts, while cultural performers from various states are entertaining the audience with their colourful performances.
Stating this, an official spokesperson said on the fourth day of International Gita Mahotsav, folk artists from Punjab, Himachal, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir entertained tourists.
On the north shore, Kachhi Ghodi dance by folk artists of Rajasthan is a major draw, which is thrilling the audience to also dance along. With Been and flute tunes folk artists are attracting the visitors on South Shore. Other artists from various states were entertaining the visitors on all sides of Sarovar. Thousands of students besides tourists from various schools also visited the craft fair.
