In a shocking incident, a man killed his parents and sister in Diliya village — under the jurisdiction of the Kotwali police station in Ghazipur district — following a family dispute on Sunday morning.
According to police reports, 35-year-old Abhay allegedly attacked his father Shivram Yadav (70), mother Jamuni Devi (65), and sister Kusum (34) following a long-standing family dispute. Preliminary investigations suggest that a recent decision regarding land distribution within the family had led to rising tensions.

On Sunday morning, the situation escalated into a fatal confrontation. Neighbours, upon hearing distress calls, rushed to the scene, but the attacker had already fled. Authorities later confirmed that all three victims had succumbed to their injuries.
Local residents said that Kusum had been residing with her parents due to marital problems, which had caused friction within the household. The conflict reportedly escalated when the parents gave a portion of their agricultural land to their daughter.
The family had reportedly been trying to manage the internal conflict for some time. The officer in charge of the Kotwali police station said a search operation has been launched for the suspect, and an investigation is currently underway.
