Security forces on Monday began search operations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara and Bandipora districts, police said.
The forces surrounded Mir Mohalla village in Bandipora and Rangwar in Kupwara after receiving information about the presence of militants.

“At both these places, searches are going on. So far, there has been no confirmation about the presence of militants,” the police added.
