AAP gives ‘walkover’ to other parties in LS polls in UP
AAP proved its growing hold in UP by winning 100 seats in the municipal elections but could not carry forward the trust that the public expressed in the party in the state.
Blaming Congress chief Rahul Gandhi for disruptions in both houses of parliament, BJP chief Amit Shah on Friday said the Gandhi scion’s style of politics was “undemocratic”.
Speaking to the media after BJP’s Parliamentary Party meeting concluded Union Minister Ananth Kumar quoted Shah as having said: “Rahul Gandhi’s style of politics is undemocratic. Hence, such kind of disruptions during the speech of PM Modi.”
The Parliamentary Affairs Minister further said Shah clarified in the meeting that talking about the details of the Rafale aircraft deal wasn’t in the interest of the nation’s safety.

“We have already revealed the main points of the deal but talking about every component of the deal will be a threat to the safety of the nation,” Ananth Kumar quoted Shah as having said at the meeting.
Chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) meeting took place on the last day of the Budget Session and was attended by top leadership including Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and LK Advani.
