Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday and invited him to inaugurate the upcoming Kisan Sammelan (Farmers’ Conference) in the state, and launch the Bhopal Metro Train service.
The CM met the PM at the Parliament House in New Delhi. CM Dr Yadav also presented a bouquet to PM Modi.

Speaking to media persons after the meeting, Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that an environment of industrialisation is taking shape in the state, with the ‘Swadeshi’ campaign being actively promoted across Madhya Pradesh. He emphasised that this is a significant step towards building an ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
“Our goal is to ensure the production of quality products under the ‘Swadeshi’ campaign. For this, all of us need to work harder”, Dr Yadav emphasized.
CM Dr Yadav further informed that over the past one and a quarter years, Madhya Pradesh has witnessed a major drive for industrialisation resulting in MoUs worth over Rs 30 lakh crore. These projects are expected to generate over 21 lakh employment opportunities.
He added that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Modi, the state government will continue to work in this direction and remain firmly committed to moving ahead on the path of sustained development.
