He praised the dedication and professionalism of the J&K Police, stating that their swift action in unearthing and dismantling a pan-India terror module had saved countless lives by preventing a series of planned terror attacks across the country.

Sinha was speaking at the Nagar Kirtan, organised here to commemorate 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sant Mela Singh Dastkari Ashram, at Digiana, here.

The LG recalled the life-long campaigns and supreme sacrifice made by Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Guru of Sikhism, to uphold the principles of moral values, righteousness, dignity, and religious freedom.

“Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was the embodiment of sacrifice and universal brotherhood, and on this occasion, we must reaffirm to follow his ideals of peace and harmony,” the Lieutenant Governor added.
