Jammu and Kashmir: Army’s rescue operation in flood-hit Rajouri saves 11 civilians
Among the 11 rescued persons, five were children. They were stranded at different places in the flood-affected district following incessant rainfall.

Security forces on Wednesday gunned down two militants in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Badgam district, police said.
According to the reports, three soldiers were left injured in the encounter.

As the search party was closing on the hiding militants they fired triggering an encounter. The identity of the slain militants were yet to be ascertained, a police officer said.
Authorities have suspended mobile Internet services in Badgam and Pulwama districts as precautionary measures.
