Dilip Kumar to be discharged from hospital

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar will be discharged on Wednesday, eight-days after being admitted to a hospital for kidney-related ailments, a close family friend said.

The 94-year-old actor was admitted to the city-based Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra last Wednesday for treatment of dehydration and urinary tract infection.

The family friend, Faisal Farooqui, shared the update about Kumar's health on the actor's official Twitter page.

"Saab will be discharged from Lilavati Hospital at 4pm. This is one great news. I'm on my way to the hospital. -FF," he posted
