Jammu and Kashmir: Army’s rescue operation in flood-hit Rajouri saves 11 civilians
Among the 11 rescued persons, five were children. They were stranded at different places in the flood-affected district following incessant rainfall.
A 16-year-old Afghan boy was on Tuesday detained by the police at the Covid testing centre at Kathua district’s Lakhanpur that is the entry point into Jammu and Kashmir from Punjab.
The police are questioning the youth about the reason for coming here.

Police sources confirmed that the Afghan national was detained near the Covid-19 testing point at Lakhanpur. His identity was revealed from his passport and visa.
