The Viral Fever (TVF) has released the trailer of its much awaited show, Kota Factory. The show is about students who leave their homes at a young age to go to Kota to prepare for the competitive entrance exams.

The trailer shows the lives of students and the coaching centre industry in Kota, a city in Rajasthan. The show explores the lives of those who live in this ecosystem through a 16-year-old aspirant’s journey.

Raghav Subbu, who worked as an assistant director on the successful show TVF Pitchers, is directing the show.

Kota Factory will reportedly be India’s first “black and white” show that will highlight the problems present day IIT-JEE aspirants face in their day-to-day lives.

Kota is an educational hub that has over the last two decades garnered the reputation for getting students into prestigious institutions such as IITs and through medical entrance exams.

TVF has partnered with Unacademy, India’s largest online learning platform, for the show, which will release on 16 April.

The show has Mayur More, Jitendra Kumar, and Ahsaas Channa in lead roles.
