Tomorrowland history starting from Belgium

Tomorrowland started 20 years ago in Belgium, thanks to brothers Manu and Michiel Beers. Since then, it has become a legendary celebration of electronic dance music, known for its surreal stage designs, creative storytelling, international crowds.

The Belgian edition regularly pulls in partygoers from all over the globe, and now, for the first time, the festival promises to deliver the same scale and spectacle in Asia.

Tomorrowland Thailand ticket price

Organisers expect more than 50,000 people each day at Pattaya, from 11 to 13 December. Tickets go on pre-sale starting 8 January, with a “full madness pass” covering all three days priced at 12,500 baht (almost 36,000 Indian rupees), while a single-day ticket costs 5,100 baht (almost 15000 Indian rupees).

Thailand has signed a five-year agreement with Tomorrowland to host the festival, and local media predicts it could generate 21 billion baht over that period.

Tomorrowland CEO Bruno Vanwelsenaers called the expansion “a milestone we approach with great respect and excitement… the beginning of a long-term story.”

The country has recently emerged as a hotspot for live music. Last year, Thailand hosted Electric Daisy Carnival and Creamfields, while Bangkok welcomed Blackpink on their world tour.

Local festivals like Wonderfruit are also drawing tens of thousands of attendees putting Thailand firmly on the global festival map.
