Veere Di Wedding actor Sumeet Vyas tied the knot with Ekta Kaul in Jammu on Saturday (September 15). The wedding functions, which included a puja, a sangeet ceremony and haldi, had started on September 13.
The couple kept their wedding and wedding celebrations private, with only some close friends and family members in attendance. Photos and videos from their ceremony have been shared on many fan pages.

Ekta’s friend and television actor Malini Kapoor has been sharing photos from the wedding functions. She also shared a selfie with the couple and wrote, “@sumeetvyas aaj se hamari ladki tumhari .”
Sumeet and Ekta’s wedding invitation card also went viral on social media.
For the wedding, Ekta wore a maroon lehenga which she paired with a double dupatta while Sumeet wore a cream sherwani.

Sumeet had spoken about his would-be wife Ekta in an interview to Times Of India. “Ekta is a beautiful person. I decided to pop the question a few days ago and slipped a ring on her finger before she could change her mind. I am glad she loved it and has accepted my proposal. Unfortunately, I got the size of the ring wrong, which can be expected from a guy like me,” he had said.
On the work front, Sumeet is writing the script for the second season of TVF Tripling.
