South actor Amala Paul and her husband Jagat Desai are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child. Amala joyfully shared the news on Instagram, expressing, “Now I know that 1+1 is 3 with you!”

The first image features Amala proudly displaying her baby bump in a photoshopped picture with Jagat. For the maternity photoshoot, Amala donned a red crop top and matching skirt. After sharing the post, the ‘Bholaa’ actor received warm wishes from fans and industry friends.

Actor Kajal Aggarwal commented, “Big big congratulations to you two. Lots of love and blessings to the little cutie!” Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap wrote, “Congratulations.”

Amala tied the knot with Jagat Desai on November 5 last year, and the couple shared glimpses of their wedding in Kochi on Instagram.

For the ceremony, Amala chose a pastel lavender-colored lehenga, paired with a statement necklace, and left her hair in curls. Jagat opted for a white sherwani with a lavender-colored jacket and dupatta. The couple also issued a joint statement alongside stunning wedding photos.

Amala Paul, known for her roles in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films, made her debut in the Malayalam film Neelathamara (2009). She garnered critical acclaim for her performances in films like ‘Deiva Thirumagal,’ ‘Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi,’ ‘Run Baby Run,’ ‘Oru Indian Pranayakadha,’ ‘Thalaivaa,’ ‘Velaiilla Pattadhari,’ and ‘Mili,’ earning the Filmfare Best Actress Critics – Malayalam award.

She achieved recognition with projects such as ‘Amma Kanakku,’ ‘Hebbuli,’ ‘Thiruttu Payale 2,’ ‘Ratsasan,’ ‘Aadai,’ and ‘The Teacher.’

Amala received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress for her role in ‘Mynaa’ and made her Bollywood debut in Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bholaa’. (ANI)
