Budgets come and go leaving behind a sea of unfulfilled expectations of taxpayers. However, Budget 2025 will long be remembered as one of the few Budgets that warmed the cockles of middle-class hearts.
Renowned singer and violinist Balabhaskar and his family met with an accident near Thiruvananthapuram in the early hours of Tuesday.
While Balabhaskar, wife Lakshmi and driver Arjun have been admitted to hospital with critical injuries, the singer’s two-year-old daughter Tejasvini died in the accident.

Balabhaskar is in ICU with multiple injuries. The accident occurred when their car rammed into a tree.

As per reports, the family was travelling back from Thrissur where they had gone to visit a temple. The Mangalapuram police told The News Minute: “We assume that the driver dozed off, which caused the accident. The family was returning from Thrissur after visiting a temple.”
A highway patrol unit took the injured to the nearest hospital where Tejasvini was said to be declared dead on arrival.
Balabhaskar, who started doing stage shows when he was 12 years old, became the youngest musician to compose for Malayalam films when he gave music for Magalya Pallakku film at the age of 17 years. He is a prominent name in the Malayalam music industry.
