Oscar-winning singer Sam Smith has parted ways with actor and boyfriend Brandon Flynn. The couple has been dating for nine months now.
According to a report in The Sun, Sam and Brandon called time on their romance last week. During his show in Brooklyn, the singer revealed to the audience that he has been going through ‘a rough time’. Though he did not mention anything about the forthcoming break-up, he said, “Everyone in this room is going through some shit right now. I know I’m going through some shit right now.”

The deleted Instagram pictures of the pair have now confirmed the breakup news.
A source close to Smith said, “Sam and Brandon had a real whirlwind romance. They really fell for each other. But they are both so busy with their careers and unfortunately, things just haven’t worked out.”
“Sam is obviously devastated. This is the most significant relationship he has ever had. Thankfully, he is on tour across the US at the moment which has been a welcome distraction,” he added.

The news comes after the singer was spotted enjoying a night out at Massachusetts club Candibar on Sunday with a small group of friends.
