The strip protest by Telugu actress Sri Reddy has taken many new turns. Popular filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma confessing that he instigated the actress to hit at actor Pawan Kalyan has given a new twist to the matter.
The director has come out claiming that he is the one who influenced Sri Reddy to say ‘that’ to the actor. Explaining the agenda behind it, RGV said he just wanted to provide her a bigger platform to present her protest.
The filmmaker took to Twitter to announce that he takes the responsibility of Sri Reddy’s behaviour. He wrote,”It was me who is responsible for @MsSriReddy saying that to @PawanKalyan ..it is not her fault ..will give details now by 9.30 pm.”

Pinkvilla South quoted the director Ram Gopal Varma as saying, “It all started when I first spoke with Sri Reddy over the phone. I spoke with her after I realized the intensity her protest had because no girl would strip her clothes on roads and stand there asking for justice. And I had seen her previous videos too which were superficial. But this act of her really caught my attention.”
