The Telugu actress Sri Reddy who took extreme steps to protest against the sexual exploitation in the film industry has now revealed the chats of Abhiram Daggubati and Srreram Chandra on social media to prove her accusations.

Earlier, the actress had named Rana Daggubati’s brother and popular producer Suresh Babu’s son Abhiram of sexually exploiting her. However, none of the messages suggests that she was forced into a relationship with Abhiram.

The actress revealed the names after her interview with News 18, where she said, “Suresh Babu’s son cheated me so badly. The studio belongs to the government and it is meant to help and support talented people. They have to use it in a proper way. This Suresh Babu’s son took me to the studio and f****d me so badly in the studio only”.

She further added, “This is Suresh Babu’s son Abhiram and I haven’t revealed his name anywhere so far. Abhiram! Don’t you feel ashamed? You know how you behaved in the studio. Everyone asked for proof, so here is the proof. See this photo, which clearly shows him kissing my face. Now start a rally. Let all Dalit and women associations come forward, fight and give me justice. Because of men like this, many lives are being ruined”.

Other than Abhiram, Sri Reddy also accused Indian Idol fame Sreeram Chandra of sending her lewd messages. She shared the screenshots on Facebook and captioned it, “Look at our Indian idol chat..shame on u sri ram..remove Sri ram from ur name..u r not worth to have it”.

On 7 March, the actress stripped naked in form of protest outside the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce in Hyderabad. Sri Reddy had alleged that she has been sexually assaulted by many producers and directors of the film industry. She has claimed that her membership in the Movie Artists Association (MAA) has not been accepted, even after she has acted in many films and produced three films.

Sri Reddy has also accused the producers of exploiting aspiring actresses and said, “They give roles to actresses imported from Mumbai or others places, whereas we local girls are only sexually exploited on the promise of being given roles”.
